I peel the potatoes.

Je pèle les pommes de terre.


Ndinqunqa ikhaphetshu.

I chop a cabbage.

J’émince un chou.


Ndigreyitha iminqathe.

I grate the carrots.

Je râpe les carottes.


Ndihlamba iimbotyi.

I wash the beans.

Je lave les fèves.


Ndisika ibhathanathi.

I cut the butternut.

Je coupe la courge musquée.


Ndinqunqa isipinatshi.

I chop the spinach.

Je hache les épinards.


Umama wam unqunqa amatswele.

My mom chops the onions.

Ma mère hache les oignons.


Amatswele andenza ndilile xa enqunqwa.

Onions make me cry when they are chopped.
